A Garden of Zinnias Bag – PA-211
A crochet pattern from Nancy Brown-Designer.
July 31, 2017
A garden of zinnias is created by popcorn stitch motifs that are joined as you crochet. The unique joining of the motifs gives the bag an interesting shape. After the motifs are joined, add a simple edging around the top, and finish with a handle and a crocheted button. This pattern is designed for the Advanced Crocheter, as the joining of the motifs can be a little challenging.
Size: Approximately 28″ in circumference (or around) and 8″ in depth from the button to bottom of bag.
Skill Level: Advanced.
Materials: “Everyday” (a worsted weight or size 4 yarn) from Premier Yarns. Crochet hook, U.S. size H.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.

All of my patterns can be purchased on Etsy. The link below will take you to my StellarDreams Pattern Store.
You can find “Everyday” at Premier Yarns in the Deborah Norville Collection. This is a 100% anti-pilling acrylic yarn that is machine washable and dryable. There is a beautiful palette of solid colors and prints that are specially designed to coordinate. I love that the yarn comes in 4oz balls with approximately 203 yards per ball on the solid colors, 3.5oz balls with approximately 180 yards on the multi-colors.
A Nice Yarn Service
With yarn and craft supplies being a little hard to come by in this day and age, LoveCrochet.com provides a nice service by selling the pattern and the yarn all on one site. They do a really nice job of supporting their Indie (independent) Designers of which I am one, and their customer service is excellent. If you would like to purchase the pattern and the yarn, or just check out a great crochet website, please click on the link below.
Thank You For Reading My Post
I hope I have inspired you to pick up some yarn and a hook. Crochet just seems to be the perfect venue for accessories, and one of my favorite things to crochet are bags and purses. Having been in fashion for a while, and it looks as if they will remain, make your fashion statement with a crocheted bag or purse. You can view my other purse patterns by going to the main menu and clicking on My Patterns> Patterns for Women’s Wear> Accessories> Bags and Purses.
Please visit ImagineCrochet often for helpful hints and suggestions, tutorials to jumpstart your crochet imagination, inspiration and maybe a freebie or a discounted pattern once in a while.
