Perfect for lightweight garments, Patons “Lace” blends acrylic, mohair and wool to create a soft, lace weight yarn with a beautiful halo. In a range of muted solid shades and truly beautiful variegating colorways, it makes wonderful light weight crochet patterns. “Lace” is packaged in 3oz balls with a truly amazing amount of yardage (approximately 497 yards) per ball. Personally, I think it crochets up beautifully on a U.S. size F crochet hook, making it just a little bit thicker than a lace weight yarn.
A Nice Yarn Service
With yarn and craft supplies being a little hard to come by in this day and age, LoveCrochet.com provides a nice service by selling the pattern and the yarn all on one site. They do a really nice job of supporting their Indie (independent) Designers, of which I am one, and their customer service is excellent.
